Restored and Colorized: Buses and cars are parked and
people are starting to file into Albany's Hawkins Stadium
to watch the Albany Senators play baseball around 1950.
Hawkins Stadium in Menands, New York debuted as the
home stadium for the Albany Senators in 1928. In 1931, the
New York Yankees played the Albany Senators before a
crowd of 10,000. During the game, Babe Ruth hit two home
runs. The park was torn down in 1960.
